Phyla nodiflora (Carpet Weed)
Phyla nodiflora, commonly known as Carpet Weed or Wild Lippia, is considered to be native to tropical America but occurs in some freshwater areas, e.g Roebuck Bay and Karrakatta Bay. It is also found in the Northern Territory. Phyla nodiflora is reagrded native to the Kimberley region but naturalised in the southern part of WA. Flowering occurs between March – June.
