Snakeweed
Snakeweed – Stachytarpheta cayennsis
Habit: Erect woody herb or shrub. Mostly blue to white flowers on stalks.
Spread: Soil disturbance and seed spreading from gardens.

Often used as hedges and in the garden, this ornamental come weed readily invades wetter and shady areas such as drainage lines or Monsoon Vine Thickets, particularly where they are situated close to communities or have been previously disturbed.
