The group has been really busy lately, because the Wet season is when everything is flowering and fruiting.

We’ve been propogating seeds and helping in a major survey of bush-land that is earmarked for redevelopment into “Broome North”

SKIPAs volunteers surveyed tracts of land looking for significant trees and collecting data on all plants found in the area, including grasses, shrubs and trees.

We have also been collecting and mounting specimens for the WA Herbarium with the Department of Environment

Trips along the Gibb River Road are planned for the Dry season. Make sure you sign up.
