Flowers after the rains

You can be lulled into thinking the Kimberley is a tough country full of tough plants. But the delicacy of flowers after rain will turn that notion on its head.

These pretty blooms were photographed along the Gibb River Road in March this year. There had been enough rain to turn the grass land into a carpet of flowers. I don’t know any of their names however, if you can identify them that would be great.
