Flowering around Broome at the moment is this magnificent Hakea. It is a fire tolerant species and was used traditionally to make Boomerangs.

What have you seen in the bush later? SKIPA is always wanting to hear from Kimberley plant and animal enthusiasts so let us know you have seen lately. We are meeting this week Tuesday 31 July back in the nursery at KTI your local TAFE from 4.30pm on. Come and hear about our holiday adventures and help pot up some of our native plants.
