SCINCIDAE

This family contains lizards that are generally slender, and with shiny scales.

Examples include the wall skinks (Cryptoblepharus), the snake-eyed skinks (Carlia) and large genera like Ctenotus and Lerista, but also the bluetongues (Tiliqua).
