This trailing vine was photographed in Windjana Gorge on17/6/09 growing in river sand. The fruit measured 5cm X 3.5 cm. The skin is peeled back to reveal the loofah insde, in which are embedded numerous oval shaped browny black seeds. Also seen on Kings Peak 100km north of Broome growing on Emeriau Sandstone.
